Great ingredients make good food – something our partners at The Rather Good Catering Company know all about, and we are extremely pleased to be collaborating with them on the Café within Stirling House.
Taking its name from the nickname given to squadrons of Stirling bombers during the Second World War, The ‘Hive’ Café is already a central hub of activity for those working in Stirling House. Offering an excellent selection of ‘grab and go’ food options throughout the day, such as paninis, home baked cakes and of course decent coffee, The Hive Café also serves a more substantial hot option at lunchtime, of which firm favourites include jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings and lasagne – ideal for those colder days!
The atmosphere is relaxed with ample seating areas for those who want a change of scene throughout the day. It is also an ideal location for team meetings over coffee or impromptu lunch meetings with clients and colleagues.
The Rather Good Catering Company’s food ethos is simple – locally sourced, fresh produce, from trusted suppliers. This dedication to sourcing locally where possible ensures the minimum number of food miles from ‘ground to table’ and enables the catering team to bring variety to the food options available by using seasonal ingredients.
In addition to running The Hive Café, the team are also able to cater for private functions, in-office meetings and corporate events, from simple buffet lunches to fully staffed champagne and canapé receptions.
